Webster is in his 4th term, and represents the 11th district northeast of Tampa. He sits on Transportation, Natural Resources, and Space, Science and Technology committees. Webster holds a legislative score of 77.3%, but in this Congress, has started to trend in the right direction. While most Florida Republicans get more liberal as time goes by, Webster has gone from being a predictable RINO to being at least a fairly consistent conservative. In an R+15 district, he can stand to be very conservative across the political spectrum. Whether this newfound boldness persists will have a lot to do with how hard Webster is pushed. He deserves encouragement – and watching.
